Off-camera there are bombs falling and pigs screaming. There is no more sugar. Forget the deadline on Tuesday and the frequent buyer rewards card. Ignore the signs that read “Keep out” and “Caution, Asbestos.” Shove open the Emergency Exit Only Door and let the alarm wail.
Follow the pipes to the heart of the building, a cool dank room wrapped in dust. Off-camera there are bombs falling and pigs screaming, but they are too far away to be heard over the laughter of the frat boys having a picnic on the lawn. Escape through the hole in the broken mirror into a world of silence and light, where you don’t have to decide between good and evil and you don’t have to worry about that deadline on Tuesday.
